Very quick and easy to do when the file is first loaded/reloaded. P.S.: I just duration-quantized the GM drum track (Ch10). Thanks again for hanging in there with me. The file finally played back perfectly in PT, and I'm just happy that PT had a feature that simply addressed and remedied the problem, because a lot of it's other features have proved invaluable to me and my band mates. I just found a simple workaround to the "missing-drum beats" issue that we have been corresponding about.Įdit->Quantize->(Check/select) Durations->set resolution to 32nd (as small as possible?) ![]() Here's a posting I sent back to PG support: I still don't know what the problem was, but I did just find a quick and easy fix. To do this, you can look at drum track notation window, and right-click on a note in editable notation mode.Įverything was using MIDI Mapper - MS Wavetable Synth. It sounds like the synth you are using in PT doesn't have those drum sounds. What MIDI driver are you using in PowerTracks (Options - MIDI Devices)? What is Windows Media Player using? (if Windows XP, usually will use the MIDI playback device selected in Control Panel | Sounds and Audio Devices). ![]()
